REGISTRATION & ADMISSION PROCEEDINGS
KING’S METRO-SCHOOLS SOKOTO offers variety of educational services within the scope of the education policy in Nigeria. The main objective of starting the school is to provide sound alternatives for nursery, primary and secondary education to parents and their wards in various subjects at affordable and qualitative rates. KING’S METRO-SCHOOLS SOKOTO shall ensure all its undertakings are conducted within the ambit of the law in pursuit of our goals. KING’S METRO-SCHOOLS SOKOTO shall offer the following services which may not be limited to:
- Teaching basic literacy and numeracy in modern education
- Teaching of qur’an, fiqh, hadith basic to advanced (Qur’an section.)
- Establishing foundations in science, mathematics, computer studies, civic education, other basic level social sciences
- Constantly working hard to meet regulatory accreditation standards by the relevant authorities.
- Administering private funding efforts
- Providing access to extracurricular and co-curricular activities
- Retailing of Educational Books and Materials in line with the national curriculum
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission into Year 7 (JSS1) is based on the candidate’s success at the GREAT HEPHZIBAR COMPREHENSIVE MODEL COLLEGE l entrance examination. All candidates seeking admission into Year 7 must be at least 10 years old by September of the desired year of entry.
The subject areas for the entrance examination are English language, mathematics and Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4).
GREAT HEPHZIBAR COMPREHENSIVE MODEL COLLEGE also admits into years 8, 9 &10. Admission is offered upon success at the School Entrance examination and the availability of space in the candidate’s desired year of entry, otherwise the candidate is placed on a wait list.
Admission is decided through competitive entrance examination, both written and oral.
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Parents can visit the school admission office and pay the sum of three thousand naira (N3,000) via POS or transfer and you could as well be given the form to fill or a Google link to the registration form for those willing to fill the form online.
Also note that all pupils will write an entry level test for correct placement. For parents who are interested in the Qur’an memorization and religious education, parents are to pay an additional #10,000 in the fees. We as well charge a token of #15,000 as Bus fares for those who’d be interested.
